Achiever RT-08 DD Digger Derricks

Designed for stability, simplicity & ease of use for power line work.  The Achiever RT-08 DD Digger Derrick is a very low ground pressure all terrain tracked digger derrick.  It excels in mud, snow and soft ground due to its extremely light ground pressure at 3.0 PSI.  High power to weight ratio allows it to easily climb inclines that other machines in its class can not.  Optional all season 33″ rubber tracks allow unloading on pavement.  This Achiever works in up to 42″ of water and can wade in up to 48 inches.

48′ sheave height allows for setting up to 90 foot poles, up to 36″ in diameter, 24,000 lbs maximum lift.  A 12,000 lb boom tip winch is standard; a 15,000 lb tip winch is available.  A tandem two man open cab is standard, a closed cab is available.  Full hydraulic flow from two pumps is sent to the 12,000 ft lb auger drive when digging giving about 85 HP at the auger drive.  A 15,000 ft lb auger drive is available.  Wide radial outriggers provide an exceptionally stable platform.  Optional auger storage up to 36″ diameter is available.

The total standard configuration weight is 28,000 lbs allowing for transport on a 20 ton pintle hook trailer behind a tandem axle line truck.  The RT-08 DD Digger Derrick overall height is 120″.  Typical trailer deck height at 36 inches gives this package a total transport height of 13 feet.  This Achiever is powered by a 173 HP, Tier III FPT Iveco Fiat Power Train engine and has many service points across North America and around the world.  Cold weather engine options are available.

UTV has manufactured tracked vehicles since 1995 & tracked digger derricks since 1999. The very first tracked carrier built was an RT-15 U Utility Vehicle, still in service in the Oil Sands in Alberta.  The first tracked digger derrick was an RT-01 DD Digger Derrick still in service in Oklahoma today.
